Top TEAM Highlights of 2012

Top TEAM Highlights of 2012 by Paul Martin, Managing Director at TEAM

Happy New Year to you all. 2012 was a fantastic year for us at TEAM, we’ve seen new and renewed partnerships, introduced a new release of our software Sigma 7, and a new series of training courses and webinars. We’ve had speakers out and about around the country at various energy events including our own regional support workshops, and welcomed many of you to the TEAM User Group Conference. With so many imminent changes to Energy Legislation for 2013, from Mandatory Carbon Footprinting, DEC threshold reduction and CRC reporting changes our aim is to help you keep on top of what’s going on!
In case you missed anything, here’s a quick update on all of the significant events in TEAM and in the Energy world from us:

25th Annual User Group Conference

Highlighting the release of Sigma 7, brand new solutions for Greenhouse Gas Reporting and the Renewable Heat Incentive, we saw some fantastic customer presentations from figure heads within the Energy Industry, including Peel Airports, York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Bedford Borough Council, Sheffield Hallam University and more.

Carbon Reduction Commitment Best Practice Tips

We have just all seen and heard about the simplification of the scheme. It’s time to get started on your submissions for 2013. Take a look at top tips from out Energy Consultant Henry Dougherty here.

Greenhouse Gas Reporting Webinars

TEAM is running two more online webinar sessions in the New Year due to over subscription in 2012. The free webinars provide the opportunity to take a look at a system which can support energy managers in achieving accurate GHG reporting required by not only FTSE companies but many other organisations.

Are DECs achieving what they were set out to?

Have DECs been a successful strategy? Are building owners seeing an impact on their energy efficiency for the better? Find out here. We will shortly provide an update on the changes to DEC legislation this week.

The Importance of Monitoring Renewables

2012 has seen increasing interest and investment in renewable energy solutions, however are we seeing the benefits? Without monitoring your renewable investment you could find projects aren’t performing up to scratch. In some cases deterioration of performance can be easily rectified.
On behalf of everyone at TEAM I’d like to wish you a successful start to 2013, and remind you that we’re here to help with your energy management needs. We hope to support you in the New Year with the challenges and demands that we all know that the ever evolving arena of energy management brings.
Paul
